You don’t have to type the Jewish harvest festival of Sukkot into your search engine to come across celebrations of the sukkah, the shelter that is an integral part of this expression of home and homelessness. In different ways the Sukkah City project in New York and The Sukkah: A Fleeting House for a Jewish Holiday at the Jewish Museum in Berlin both highlight the multiple possibilities of its realisation.
