This short programme of events at the Atelier Vlaams Bouwmeester consists of two research-based exhibitions and two discussion events. The first of these is a presentation of works by artist Maarten Vanden Eynde that focus on the material traces of uranium in the world of global economics. It forms the beginning of a larger research project by Vanden Eynde that is supported by Z33 as part of the Nuclear Culture programme. In May, a second exhibition presents Belgian artist Cécile Massart, amongst others. On 5 May is a round table discussion with Cécile Massart and London-based curator Ele Carpenter, centring on nuclear infrastructures, waste management, and knowledge transfer.
