What About Happiness on the Building Site?

Exhibition, CCA, Montréal, Canada.

Until May 14, 2017
The exhibition emphasises the social role and responsibility of the architect by rethinking traditional practices and pursuing strategies to initiate social progress through critical research, new tools, and experimental attitudes.
It offers a reading of a witty proposal by British architect, thinker, and radical innovator Cedric Price, which is combined with a Portable Enclosures Programme proposing how to improve labour conditions assure happiness and well-being – both mental and physical – for employees by prioritising a lowress, boredom-free building site.
