Tomás Saraceno: Aerosolar Journeys
Exhibition, Wilhelm-Hack-Museum, Mannheim, Germany.
The exhibition at the Wilhelm-Hack-Museum presents the latest vision of Tomás Saraceno: Aerocene, the age of air. The project involves the development of the most varied flying sculptures, which fly without the engine, without gas, without solar cells, only by the power of the sun.
The exhibition also shows the beginnings of aerocene research: the Museo Aerosolar, a gigantic sculpture of used plastic bags, which appears like a walk-through cathedral of sustainability in the Wilhelm Hack Museum.
