CONFESSIONS OF A CHAIR
until Thursday 31 December 2009

From making-up to breaking-up, Prophets & Penitents: Confessions of a Chair has now made the move from a 15th century chapel to the small screen. Featuring the debut of 35 chair prototypes, and assorted established & emerging designers.

Prophets & Penitents: Confessions of a Chair took place in Milan between 22 – 27 April at the Oratorio della Passione Sant’Ambrogio and was an initiative of DAMn° magazine and Galleria Blanchaert with Elena Aguido & Alexandra Waldburg-Wolfegg.

Bar Basso Party

BAR BASSO
Wednesday 22 April 2009

Via Plinio 39, from 11pm

Serving the best cocktails in town, DAMn°’s annual party at the infamous Bar Basso is always a hot & sweaty affair.
From the bar to the toilet queue and out onto the streets, we defy anyone not to make new friends and greet old ones like it was only yesterday. No guest list, no secret location, this is a party without the need for a chaser.

DAMn° Peach Kauch

DAMn° TALKS DESIGN
Wednesday 4 February 2009

3.30pm
K11 conference room at the SFF

DAMn°'s Peach Kauch twists the idea of a design talk:
serious one moment, the next an entertaining amateur hour for professional minds.

An on-stage interaction between designers and a few famous quotes from the mouths of such luminaries as Albert Einstein, Arne Jacobsen, Orson Welles, David Hockney and Frank Zappa, it's an attempt to talk about design in the way people experience it: spontaneously, as part of life, love, death and anything between.
