During Qubique - a next generation tradeshow for furniture and design at Berlin’s Tempelhof Airport from 26 to 29 October 2011 - DAMn° presents a first Berlin City Guide, bringing a broad focus on design & other creative industries from the streets of one of Europe’s high-ranked cultural capitals. DAMn° introduces this first free DAMn° Berlin City Guide 2011, an effective communication & promotion tool linking the activities at Qubique’s Tempelhof exhibition space to other cultural projects from the streets of Berlin. The guide will focus on people, products & places in the city, with a strong emphasis on design & creativity, geared towards an audience of designers, architects, interior architects, manufacturers, agents, buyers, media people and other design lovers.

The DAMN° MINI Shop is a mobile magazine store passing by Milan’s one-way streets - from the Duomo and Brera area to Zona Tortona, and via the Triennale back to Ventura Lambrate for a whistle-stop... From making-up to breaking-up, Prophets & Penitents: Confessions of a Chair has now made the move from a 15th century chapel to the small screen. Featuring the debut of 35 chair prototypes, and assorted established & emerging designers.

Prophets & Penitents: Confessions of a Chair took place in Milan between 22 – 27 April at the Oratorio della Passione Sant’Ambrogio and was an initiative of DAMn° magazine and Galleria Blanchaert with Elena Aguido & Alexandra Waldburg-Wolfegg.

A celebration of chair prototyping in Milan’s oldest church, featuring many previously unseen works by established & emerging designers such as the Campana brothers, Michael Young, Maarten Baas, Konstantin Grcic, 5.5 Designers, Richard Hutten and the Bouroullec brothers.
