Studio Formafantasma's Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin in front of the broom that formed part of its Autarky installation at Spazio Rossana Orlandi. Featuring vessels and lamps made from a biomaterial mix of flour, agricultural waste and natural limestone, the Italian Netherlands-based designers also invited Italian broom maker Giuseppe Brunello and French bakery Poilane to take part. According to the designers, 'The cereal Sorgho works as a link between these crafts - in a perfect production process without waste, the cereal is harvested and used to create tools, vessels and foods.'
