‘In collaboration with Lamborghini’ must have been sweet music to students attending Milan’s Scuola Politecnica di Design Master’s Programme in Transportation Design. Sunday at the Race, which lined up 11 models of new Lamborghini supercars on a rollercoaster, was one of four scenarios that formed the Politecnica’s True Stories exhibition during the city’s design week. New languages for an iconic design, Lamborghini Next was supervised by Alessandro Maccolini and the brand’s design director Filippo Perini. Elsewhere, Master’s students from the visual, industrial and interior design courses presented collaborative works within a concept conceived by tutors Diego Grandi and jeykll&hyde.
