Italian Andrea Rauch was just one of the graphic artists that responded to the call of an Iranian photographer named 'Green Bird' to create posters in support of the protests in Iran that followed the 2009 elections. The posters were originally collected on the web site SocialDesignZine, the blog of the Association of Italian Graphic Designers that Rauch edited, and this first public viewing of the printed posters was organised by designers Anita Kunz and Woody Pirtle, along with Francis Di Tommaso, director of the Visual Arts Gallery and Steven Heller, co-chair of the MFA Design Department at SVA. Other posters include those by Seymour Chwast, Ivan Chermayeff, Milton Glaser, Anita Kunz, James Victore and Massimo Vignelli ao.
