Using a modern system is often difficult for elderly people or people with dementia. Kyra Meilink designed TOON, a music player especially for this target group. The design is inspired by radio's from the 1950s. The sound system has a SD memory card on which carers and family can put familiar songs and radio plays from the old days. Operation of this music player is easy with only two buttons, and a special plug for the hard of hearing. TOON brings music back into the lives of old people.
