What gives a city a design scene? Diverse factors are always at play, and it’s not only the quality and content of creativity that affects its cyclical flourishes and dips. On the eve of New York’s own design month, which includes events such as ICFF, a sample of different voices share their opinions on what’s sparked the rise and awareness of New York’s scene.
