Le Sfere Di Gino Sarfatti Astep & Flos at Palazzo Litta
‘Palazzo Litta has quickly become a “must-see place” in the crowded Milano Fuorisalone scene. This beautiful Milanese palace is a fantastic location, each year filled by DAMN° and Mosca Partners with a refined and varied selection of design,’ says Alessandro Sarfatti, founder of Astep (‘a new company with an old legacy’).
‘Participating in The Litta Variations is also an effective way for Astep to be seen outside the Fair in a year without Euroluce.’ Sarfatti reintroduces a family of products conceived by his grandfather, Gino Sarfatti, in 1959. ‘We called this collection “Le Sfere”, which is Italian for spheres. Inspired by the beautiful and fascinating light of the moon, my grandfather was convinced that the sphere’s poetic light would fill any ambience with beauty…By composing these moon-like orbs, he built his own special sky.’ With Le Sfere di Gino Sarfatti, Astep presents a tribute collection at Palazzo Litta, created in collaboration with Flos.
