NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti at Palazzo Litta

April 2018
In the four decades of its history, NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti has investigated the concept of living, increasingly combined with exploration of new technologies. The relationship between interior and exterior is crucial in our contemporary idea of living on the move. In Palazzo Litta, NABA presents a prototype that investigates the potential offered by self-driving, allowing a slow use of what was once defined as the road: the city slows down, and in return offers fluidity, sustainability, and the ability to use travel time in a useful and pleasant way. The system, based on power supply technologies, is reorganized according to the actions it can host, and implies a cultural leap in our concept of means of transport and charging.
