Andrea Zittel

One artist. One desert. Lots of funky wagons. More than a decade ago, American artist Andrea Zittel installed herself in a wide-open space in southern California’s wild outdoors, choosing to live off the grid. And, in so doing, she began to log her activities in the form of a continuously progressing artwork. Over this time, she has interacted with various other like-minded individuals and created a haven in which to share her experience.
