There is unlikely anyone who has not heard of Le Corbusier, and it is nearly as unlikely that there’s someone with no opinion on his work. Most comments will relate to his architecture, of which he has left a substantial legacy. But, in fact, as the current show at the Centre Pompidou elucidates, Le Corbusier was a man of many talents. Not only did he draw and paint, as well as sculpt, on a constant basis, but his artworks provided the impetus for his architecture.
