Winkler + Ruck and Certov architects win competition to redesign WIEN MUSEUM

The winner of the international architectural competition for the redesign of the WIEN MUSEUM on Karlsplatz in Vienna has been selected. The international jury has announced the design of the Austrian architects Winkler + Ruck (Klagenfurt) and Ferdinand Certov (Graz) as the winner of 274 projects submitted from 26 countries. A
t the centre of the design is a floating body, which newly draws attention to the Haerdtl Building as the foundation for development and opens the Museum towards the Karlsplatz.
