Inspiring talks with makers who visited DAMN's event A Matter of Perception: Linking Minds during the recent Salone del Mobile

We placed our camera under the jeans-canopy installation by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in Palazzo Litta's magnificent courtyard and asked participating designers and visiting makers alike to share their thoughts about A Matter of Perception: Linking Minds, the event organised by DAMNº and Mosca Partners during Milan Design Week and attended by 50,000 visitors. Designer, architect, and professor Michele de Lucchi talks about the exhibition The Aesthetics of Drama at Palazzo Litta, where works by his design students at the Politecnico di Milano were on display.
Spanish artist Nacho Carbonell exhibited his work at Galleria Rossana Orlandi and dropped by to see A Matter of Perception: Linking Minds. He speaks about how within his team it’s all about ‘linking minds', about the happiness he enjoys in his life, and about DS+R’s jeans-canopy pavilion in the Palazzo Litta courtyard, amongst other things.
Liz Diller (Diller Scofidio + Renfro) and Jürg Zumtobel (Zumtobel Group) talk about their collaboration for A Matter of Perception: Linking Minds at Palazzo Litta and beyond. DS+R created this year’s courtyard pavilion, while Zumtobel provided the light.

Brussels-based designer Nathalie Dewez created lighting in collaboration with the nearly 200-year-old crystal company Val Saint Lambert. Her work was part of the Belgitude exhibition presented by Belgium is Design and curated by DAMNº magazine.
