Pritzker Prize-winning architect I.M Pei has passed away aged 102. Pei's architectural designs are best known for their bold geometry, precision and the brilliant usage of natural light. He worked well into his 80s, creating some of the most recognisable work during that time, including the Musuem of Islamic Art in Doha, Qatar. When, in 1983 he was awarded the prestigious Pritzker Prize, the jury said of him that he ""has given this century some of its most beautiful interior spaces and exterior forms".
