Multiple venues in Liverpool, UK, until 26 October.
Liverpool Biennial, the UK Biennial of Contemporary Art, is a platform for the research, commissioning, and presenting of international art, education, and debate. It is the moment when the world engages with Liverpool. Curated by Mai Abu ElDahab and Anthony Huberman, the event takes place across the city at impressive venues, and this year’s edition also features the John Moores Painting Prize, Bloomberg New Contemporaries, and exhibitions at Open Eye Gallery and LJMU’s Exhibition Research Centre. In addition, there are works by artists and curators in solo and group shows and performances throughout the city.
