AFRICA : Architecture, Culture And Identity
Exhibition, Louisiana, Humlebæk, Denmark, until 25 October
With a comprehensive presentation of architecture projects, contemporary art, and cultural history, this exhibition tells a story of Africa on the rise, bringing multiple alternative narratives on contemporary culture and history from the African continent’s many regions. Like all of Louisiana’s shows, it is not just about construction and aesthetics, but also about the physical and mental spaces that form our social communities, which architecture also shapes, interprets and changes, affecting the life we live, the life that others live, and the life we could live. This forms the third chapter in the museum’s major series on Architecture, Culture and Identity.
