Movie & debate in Library Centre Pompidou
Reykjavik, Des Elfes dans la Ville: a documentary portraying the Icelandic capital, seen and experienced through the eyes of three young Icelanders. Reykjavik changes and moves, just like the bubbling craters of the island. Everything seems possible. The young characters recount their lives and dreams. Will they be able to make their dreams come true in Iceland, Europe or elsewhere? Their stories wander through the city, take us through the euphoria of a spring without nights and the melancholy of winter without days. Screening of the movie Reykjavik, Des Elfes dans la Ville, followed by a debate with Icelandic-American Sólveig Anspach, director of this movie, and with French photographer Pascal Fellonneau whose pictures explore the urban landscape. The topic is the city of Reykjavik.
