FÓLK premieres new product lines and introduces upcoming projects in their new downtown Reykjavík showroom, in Tryggvagata 25. The focus will be on FÓLKs research into circular design in Iceland and the exhibition will shed light on the brand‘s design process and working principles.
In Circular Design FÓLK addresses the isssue of local waste and recyclable materials and along with its designers presents a collection of products made entirely from these materials. The project is part of FÓLKs effort to support and enable innovative design and in line with the brands principles on sustainability, responsibility and transparency of the design and production process. Circular Design has been funded with the support of the Iceland Design Fund and Íslandsbanki Entrepreneurship Fund.
During DesignMarch FÓLK will launch a Pop-Up store in their showroom and host a Q&A session with the brand‘s designers and founder, Ragna Sara Jónsdóttir.FÓLK is an emerging Icelandic interior and lifestyle brand founded in 2017. FÓLK makes designs for modern living and the brands vision is to enable and inspire people to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
FÓLKs collaborating designers are Jón Helgi Hólmgeirsson, Ólína Rögnudóttir, Ragna Ragnarsdóttir, Studio Flétta, Theodóra Alfreðsdóttir and Tinna Gunnarsdóttir.
