Kama, sex and design
Triennale Design Museum, Milan, Italy
An exhibition about the relationship between Eros and design. The title refers to the Hindu God of sexual pleasure, human love and desire. KAMA attempts to deal with this rather exasperated contemporary 'ghost', which is also one of the more removed. The presentation aims to investigate how sexuality incorporates itself and makes these sensations a medium of knowledge. For the designer, as well as the user. At the heart of the exhibition is a survey of the historical, mythical and anthropological, from long ago until now, with more than 200 archaeological finds, drawings, pictures, objects, and artworks by international artists and designers.
