Architect, sculptor, painter, initiator of modern town planning and a master of the Modern Movement, this exhibition comprises of some 320 original documents and 300 photographs related to Le Corbusier. A chronological and thematic format has been adopted for presenting Italy's influence on the training of the master: from his first trips early in the 20th Century to the unbuilt projects for the Olivetti Electronic Calculation centre at Rho and the 1960s hospital in Venice. The exhibition features a variety of documents, notes on trips, studies, cultural exchanges and personal aspirations, revealing the full breadth of his intellectual stature and the special nature of his thinking.
