Here, MUDE presents 100 approaches to design expressed by 21st-century Brazilian designers. Featured in the exhibition are 50 projects that explore the plurality of the discipline, showing how design has been used in contemporary Brazil to promote but also to question issues of progress, consumption, identity, heritage, citizenship, and protect. Taken together, these 100 approaches highlight the uniqueness and complexity of the act of designing for the Brazilian people, society, market, and territory, while also stressing the universal reach of design as performed in the Portuguese language.
