The Circle Walked Casually

The Circle Walked Casually: Silvia Bächli, Untitled, 1989; gouache on paper; Deutshe Bank Collection

Exhibition, Deutsche Bank KunstHalle Berlin, Germany, until 02 March 2014.
This marks the start of an exhibition series in which international guest curators are invited to realise extraordinary exhibitions from the Deutsche Bank Collection. Argentinian curator Victoria Noorthoorn is first, combining works ranging from classic modernism to current international art. In a special exhibition layout, she invites visitors to take a stroll through drawings spanning the last hundred years. The line becomes a symbol of an imaginary, abstract journey. With more than 130 works by 51 international artists, a panorama from 1900 to the present is on display. Drawing is honoured as a means of expression, an autonomous medium that opens up new realms of thought and presentation.
