Lalinea: Chair in powder-coated steel, by BIHAIN Furniture & Interior Design Studio.

A tribute to Henry Van de Velde
Politically, Belgium may be a divided country, but designers from both language parts work peacefully together in ‘Belgium is design’, a project that shows the design treasures this tiny country has to offer. During the Milan design week, exciting work of 55 participants will be presented.
This project is also a tribute to Henry Van de Velde (1863-1957), the Belgian artist, designer, architect and European forerunner, whose work contributed to the foundation of economic and cultural models of modern design.
