UNNO
A digital gallery of contemporary Latin American design

A new digital design gallery of contemporary Latin American design, Unno will bring together the millenarian wisdom of craftsmen and the exquisite potential of contemporary artists. The creative idea behind this project – enabled by the synergy of the founders, Maria Dolores Uribe and Laura Abe Vettoretti – is to develop a new way of presenting art and design, devoid of any physical exhibition space and, thus, within the reach of every city and country around the world: a globalized notion of design, capable of crossing geographic and individual boundaries. All the pieces under UNNO pay homage to Latin American culture: the coarse visual language inherited by their forefathers resulting in design pureness; the connection between time, space, and art, leading to pieces that speak of spatial and everlasting memories; historical, essential tremors and the perfection of executing pure poetry.
