LONDON) Multidisciplinary curatorial agency Alter-Projects is thrilled to present Wander Art, a public outdoor public gallery trail of immersive site-specific art and design installations in the heart of London’s Mayfair and Belgravia neighbourhoods. Curated by Alter-Projects and hosted by Landlord Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, the gallery showcases new creations by some of the world’s most renowned international artists and designers, including F ernando Laposse, R ichard Woods, Yinka Ilori MBE, Emily Forgot, Morag Myerscough and A ndré Mendes. A true testament to the democratisation of the arts, the Wander Art trail comes to life just in time to lift Londoners’ spirits. Whilst recreational activities become limited, Wander Art allows Londoners to re-discover their city outdoors safely, and through art.
New artworks by prominent international and London-based artists are being unveiled across squares, streets and buildings, creating an evolving and eye-catching art trail on view for the next six months. With 12 different pieces in a range of distinctive styles, the creations featured along the Wander Art trail celebrate London’s iconic architecture and creative talents, drawing on the artists’ personal stories and individual perspectives of the city. The outdoor gallery features site-specific sculptures, installations, and murals, to offer passersby a unique way to enjoy and re-discover London this winter. Wander Art brings together artists from all over the world, embodying the inspiration that can be generated when the artistic community comes together in a joint effort to lift the public’s spirits in challenging times.
