Swedish-French designer-duo Fredrik Färg and Emma Marga Blanche presented their latest work in a large solo exhibition at Teatro Arsenale in Milan, summarising their tailoring approach to furniture design. On show were a series of new products and techniques featuring metal-stitched furniture items and a forest-like collection of lamps, projects initially created only as part of the installation but that the designers are now trying to develop into a collection.
It involves a group of totems where each one is a standing lamp. There is an LED fixture inside the globes and the surface of the tubes is covered with a Kvadrat wool textile. The lamp family was developed in FÄRG & BLANCHE’s workshop in the Södermalm district of Stockholm.
