An Architectural Cautionary Tale
If one takes an open-minded approach to exploring the bleakest of urban environments, it is not impossible to find a silver lining. Such is the case with the former automotive city of Flint, Michigan. As grim and decayed as that of its companion cities, not least Detroit, it still possesses a degree of impressiveness. That is the observation of MoMA’s Pedro Gadanho, who shares his experiences from a recent visit.
