ORGATEC 2016: Creativity Works

How do we work and how do we live? What requirements have to be satisfied to provide the best working conditions? Should we still consider relevant the now ambiguous definition of the office as a workplace? ORGATEC is the only trade fair to present the contemporary world of work and to shape the shifting notion of a working environment. Digitalisation, mobility, and rapid social change are not just affecting companies and workers – they invite to invent new approaches from designers and creative planners. At ORGATEC 2016, which took place in Cologne from 25 to 29 October 2016, approximately 650 companies from around 40 countries were presenting new approaches to the modern trends of teamwork, digitalisation, holistic interiors and the attractiveness of the workplace.  The leitmotif of the exhibition "Creativity Works" went like a thread through the presentations of exhibitors and was particularly appreciated by architects and designers. Exhibitors and visitors agreed: ORGATEC 2016 has developed a creative hotspot for modern working environments.
