Thomas Geisler is a curator, author and critic. A former head of the Design Collection at the MAK – Austrian Museum of Applied Arts / Contemporary Art in Vienna he now directs Werkraum Bregenzerwald - an exhibition hall designed by Pether Zumthor and dedicated to contemporary crafts, design and architecture. He has taught and published on contemporary design and design history. Thomas is co-founder of the Vienna Design Week and was instrumental in establishing the Victor J. Papanek Foundation at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
