Piscine(s) by Malak Mebkhout

March 2018
Piscine(s), designed by Malak Mebkhout, is a collection of rugs, collages, and objects inspired by existing swimming pools, which have been chosen because of their diverse typologies: monumental, Olympic, with artificial waves, belonging to a palace, and an amazing natural geothermal hot spring. The six carpets inspired by these varied swimming pools are like paintings one could dive into, decorative spaces halfway between interior design and set design.

DAMN°66 Materials presents products that are the new generation of products. Says Productivity editor Patrizia Coggiola about the Suprematist trend:

"Monumental patterns and proportions that recall those historical avant-garde researches for the pure form, where the perfected polished geometries were applied on huge scales. A vivid visual power, creating paintings or sculpture-like elements that one could enter and live in."
